Make the City of Beaverton a Better Place to Walk and Bike: Visit the Virtual Open House

BEAVERTON, Ore. – Residents are invited to attend a virtual open house from Monday, Feb. 13 to Sunday, Feb. 26 to learn more about the city of Beaverton’s Active Transportation Plan. Travel by bike, on foot, by wheelchair, or by public transit? Share your thoughts during the virtual open house at

One of City Council’s top priorities in 2017 is to complete the Active Transportation Plan. The plan’s goal is to develop well-connected, attractive bike and pedestrian networks that are safe, convenient, and user-friendly for people of all ages and abilities.

If you’re a bicyclist, download Ride Report, the free app to rate your bike ride, at The app anonymously tracks your route and lets you rate how it went. The city will use this information to learn about what routes residents use the most and to gather data on community needs to support bicycling.
